Current Inspiration…

The inspirations for the first two prints are around some daffodils I saw on my way to the station and a fox.

I stopped to take a photo as daffodils don’t stay around for long.

And I met this foxy friend in the park. It wasn’t scared of me at all, so I got close enough for a great photo.

Gingham is a type of woven fabric. Culturally it has associations with summer, picnics, shirts, dresses and summery vibes.

the backstory

The City Awakens is inspired by urban nature.

While city living can be great, it can be easy to lose touch with nature. As spring/summer warms up the city, we see nature come alive.

For this collection I’ve chosen to paint digitally to allow me to be more mobile and draw on the go.
